During the winter months the temperatures get cold and wet here in the Pacific Northwest. One year I decided maybe I should go to Jamaica and I wrote this song of wishful thinking.

Lyrics

I'm bound for Jamaica can't stand this wet and cold I'm bound for Jamaica don't like this ice and snow this wet and real cold weather man it's getting old I'm gonna lay out on the beach and watch the various tides let my imagination run watching the clouds collide I can see so many things my mind can't block or hide It's a natural exuberance and a natural high I'm bound for Jamaica don't like this wet and cold I'm bound for Jamaica don't need no ice and snow (flugel horn solo) I can't stay here I can't stay here can't you see if I stay if I stay here it will be the end of me It's the land of milk and honey in the Caribbean sea an island of love a gift from above as paradise it feels so nice oh Jamaica don't want to freeze no more no more Northwest cold wet weather Lord I'm gone for sure
